Great view! You can see the ocean from the balcony, so you can enjoy the ocean without walking down to the beach and regardless of the weather. Public beach access is across the street. The beach is very private, the first day on the beach we were the only people there and majority of the time we were the only people there. There is a little jetty by the beach and if you go on the rocks you can see fishing boats on the other side.We did not bring bikes, but the roads have very little traffic and many side roads that would have been nice to explore on bikes.It was nice having the downstairs separate from the upstairs. The girls played downstairs and watched a movie, while the boys played in the sand in the backyard. The adults mostly stayed in living area upstairs cooking and talking. Plenty of nice cookware and large bowls with lids that stored leftovers nicely in the refrigerator. Knives were nice and sharp, plenty of utensils. We used the grill, which was really nice to cook with. We had 6 children and 8 adults, we all had a great time.There was a nice fire pit in the backyard and there was firewood stocked, but there was a fire ban so unfortunately we did not get to use it.We had so much fun checking out Tillamook and Rockaway. We checked out the cheese factory, a museum, the octopus tree, the old cedar tree and the wine tasting at the blue heron while the kids fed the farm animals. We also visited a beautiful waterfall and visited hug point during low tide.There is plenty of parking at the house, but vacasa would only let me register two vehicles and told me we could only park two cars at the house (which you can park more).We had 14 people, so we had more than 2 cars. As of right now we have not been charged for the extra vehicles, but be aware that vacasa will tell you that you can only have 2 and that you can park across the street. You cannot actually park across the street because there is no overnight parking across the street.

They have upgraded a few things since the photos were taken so that was a plus! We never ran out of clean towels for both bath and beach. Each room had their own thermostats, and there was a coat rack in our room which is always helpful to help hang towels and bags when the bathrooms are shared with others :)The wrap around deck was great for the little kids and dog to run around on.
